Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched a new variant of the Holly 3 which features a few upgrades over the original. Some reports are referring to the handset as the Honor Holly 3+, but the brand’s site has listed both versions under one page without any reference to the Plus moniker.
In any case, the new Honor phone is currently available via offline retailers across India. It’s been slapped with a Rs 12999 price tag, Rs 3000 more than the first Honor Holly 3. The extra cash will get you 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.
To recall, the older Honor Holly 3 hit India in October last year at Rs 9999. It packed a lesser 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. Other than the bump up in memory specs, the new iteration doesn’t appear to be any different from the former.
At Rs 12999, the new Honor offering will have to compete against affordable heavyweights like the Redmi Note 4. The Xiaomi handset’s 32GB/3GB model costs Rs 10999, while its 64GB/4GB option sets buyers back by Rs 12999. Major distinctions include the latter’s 5.5-inch 1080p screen, 4100mAh battery, and metal unibody.
