Huawei’s Honor 9 Lite is all set to arrive on Indian shores on January 17 and go up for sale only via Flipkart. The minimal-bezel handset initially came out in China back in December 2017 and has 4 cameras in all.
Flipkart has put up a dedicated page for the Honor 9 Lite detailing all its specs, but hasn’t given away the price yet. In China, the handset sets buyers back by CNY 1199 (approx Rs 11700) for its 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM option, CNY 1499 (about Rs 15600) for its 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM model, and finally CNY 1799 (roughly Rs 17500) for its 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM iteration.
The most attention-seeking aspect of the Huawei phone is its 13MP + 2MP setup at both the back and front. This is fairly unusual for a budget offering. The combination naturally leads to enhanced bokeh effects for both selfies and regular shots. The rear camera additionally gets the benefit of PDAF and LED flash.
The other big highlight of the Honor 9 Lite is its 5.65-inch FHD+ display which hops on the 18:9 aspect ratio trend. The brand has also added a stylish touch to the device through a dual 2.5D glass design, so both the front and back stand out with a mirror-like finish.
