HTC unfurls Widgets for Android phones

HTC Battery Widget

Though needless to state, but almost everyone sits down with an extensive explanation the jiffy word ‘widget’ pops up. According to Engadget, AndroidCentral reports that HTC has recently released four Widgets that were developed in-house for its own Android-powered HTC Hero and Eris smartphones.

Apparently, the new apps are only compatible with HTC’s own Hero and Eris smartphone twins. Concurrently, some disgruntling news whizzes as some apps might only work on specific phone models. The applications which have recently buzzed are the tip calculator, a dice throwing app, today-in-history and a battery utility.

Ostensibly, the battery utility will emerge to be highly useful and will offer users detailed information on their battery charge level, type and even the temperature of it.

Reportedly, HTC will be releasing more of its own in-house apps soon, but for now, there’s no word on whether they’ll be compatible with non-HTC devices.
