HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung SCH-i520 appear in Verizon’s system

HTC Thunderbolt Verizon System Several LTE phones seem to be tucked into Verizon Wireless’ kitty. Android Central has recently posted screenshots of Verizon’s data system showing SKUs for the HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung SCH-i520 LTE handsets.

The Thunderbolt ostensibly carries a stock code of ADR6400. Both these LTE-equipped devices also show dummy units for display in shops. The HTC smartphone possibly employs a front-facing camera and a large speaker. Although an Android 2.3 update is still in the charts, the handset originally ships with Android 2.2.

On the other hand, the Samsung SCH-i520 is powered by Android 2.2.1 and looks similar to the Galaxy S smartphone. Plausibly, it features TouchWiz user interface and comes with 4-inch Super AMOLED display. A 5 megapixel camera and the company’s Hummingbird 1GHz processor are also bundled in. Moreover, the LTE connectivity is created to better the communication system scenario.

These devices are slated to roll out at the Consumer Electronics Show on January 6, 2011.
