The HTC Status phone has been recently made available for purchase at AT&T stores across USA for $50 on contract. The handset can be bought for the price with a two-year contract wherein a data plan of minimum $15 is required.

Also known as HTC ChaCha, the highlight of this phone is its Facebook button which lets users experience the social network in a much faster and easier way. A simple press of the Facebook button, enables content to be public and eliminates the task of fumbling through menus.

It also features a 1.3MP front-facing camera while the 5MP main camera comes with the auto focus function. The phone is compatible with many universal micro-USB charging options, corded stereo headsets and Bluetooth headsets.
