HTC Radar 4G smartphone coming through T-Mobile

HTC Radar 4G Smartphone HTC Radar 4G smartphone powered by Mango is expected to arrive on T-Mobile ‘in time for the holidays.’ With speculations being rife about its October release, Radar’s availability date has been kept under wraps but its T-Mobile release is confirmed.

The HTC handset has a sleek and an elegant aluminum unibody design to complement its 3.8-inch LCD touchscreen display. It also sports a dedicated camera button to rule a 5MP camera fitted onto its rear panel. Users can on a clicking-spree even when the device has been locked, one thing that avid camera photographers would approve of.

Needless to say, like most smartphones today, this one also features a QWERTY keypad. It is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and comes preloaded with entertainment applications. It allows multi-tasking between apps while its 4G speeds coupled with Internet Explorer 9 enhance the user’s browsing experience.

Users have Microsoft Exchange and calendar as well as Microsoft Office hub at their disposal. While none of its features spell mind-boggling, probably the new Mango OS may just give it the much-required edge. The handset aims to aid users in achieving a balance in their professional as well as personal life, with its multimedia options.

The HTC Radar 4G smartphone will be available via T-Mobile but as of now, there is no word on its pricing. Radar 4G will be the first Windows based smartphone with 4G speeds that will be coming through this carrier.
