HTC One M8 for India finally gets Eye Experience update via Android 4.4.4 KitKat

The HTC One M8 smartphone is now being updated to Android 4.4.4 KitKat in India and along with the new Google fixes, the Taiwanese OEM is also seeding the Eye Experience software suite. The latest firmware brings in various new camera-focused tools for a richer imaging experience.

The Eye Experience was originally launched with the Desire Eye and One M8 Eye handsets, both of which are already available in India. The software suite has already been rolling out to users across the US and Europe and has finally reached India for the original One M8 smartphone.

The software suite basically adds new camera features. Instant shots allows you to take selfies easily by simply smiling at the snapper or using voice commands, while the new face tracking enhancements will allow you group chat by adding up to four faces into a single frame via the front sensor alone.
