HTC introduces five Windows Phone 7 enabled smartphones

With the launch of the Windows Phone 7 platform, we’ve seen several new offering been introduced along with it. HTC too has enunciated an entire lineup of Windows Phone 7 enabled smartphones namely, HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Pro, HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Trophy and HTC HD7. These handsets host a suite of HTC applications that can be accessed via the new HTC Hub which add-in to the Windows Phone 7 Hub and Tile experience.

The Hub offers an exclusive assortment of utilities and applications. These will include a new photo enhancer and a weather and stocks application. The HCT 7 Surround is equipped with a novel slide-out speaker and in-built kickstand. It is further integrated with Dolby Mobile and SRS WOW HD for a true surround sound indulgence. On the other hand, the HTC 7 Mozart is designed with a single piece of anodized aluminum. Similar to HTC Surround it also features Dolby Mobile and SRS WOW HD. The HTC 7 Mozart can be synced with users’ PCs with the help of Microsoft Zune integration.

The HTC 7 Trophy is loaded with the multitude of entertainment provided by Xbox Live. The handset operates on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and is fitted with a WVGA 3.8″ touchscreen. It features the SRS WOW HD functionality which offers an excellent virtual surround sound experience. The HTC 7 Pro is crafted with a full QWERTY keyboard and allows users to access their Outlook emails along with several Office documents. Users can expect the HTC HD7 to come with a 4.3″ high-resolution screen. It features Xbox Live, and is fitted with a kickstand for handsfree usage.

These five new HTC smartphones will retail through several major network operators like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Telus, O2, Deutsche Telekom AG, Vodafone and Orange, among others. It will be available in Asia-Pacific, European and North American markets by late October.
