Though the HTC Desire V India launch is yet to go live officially, the smartphone has managed to hit availability status via Flipkart. Priced above Rs. 20,000, it is an ICS treat all the way and takes on the responsibility of being a dual SIM Android phone as well.

However, 3G is accessible merely via one SIM, while the other card can only function on GPRS. Considering that it’s HTC we are talking about, the Android 4.0 OS works in tandem with the HTC Sense 4 skin, with the idea of rendering the mobile experience fast and fluid.

A 4-inch WVGA touchscreen delivering images in 480 x 800p resolutions graces the front panel. Packing in 512RAM, it houses 4GB internal memory and embeds a microSD expansion slot. Beats Audio technology unmistakably shows up on this device as well.

For photography purposes, there’s a 5MP autofocus snapper allocated to the back panel of the device. In terms of connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, a 3.5mm stereo audio jack and a micro-USB port. The entire show is fueled by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor operating under the hood.

The device could be regarded as the only high priced dual SIM smartphone in India, claims NDTV Gadgets. But going by the fact that the dual SIM phone is tied to the HTC branding, the price looks justifiable to an extent.

The HTC Desire V India price and availability details stand at Rs. 21,990 through Flipkart.
