HTC Desire 709d, 7060, 7088 smartphones launched in China

HTC has some new phones in the Desire range for China which go by the names of 709d, 7060 and 7088 and are yet to be introduced in other countries. We are not expecting the Taiwanese company to delay the Indian launch of the dual SIM smartphones as there’s a huge demand for this kind of gadgets in the said market.

The Desire 709d, 7060 and 7088 are all 5-inch phablets that come encased in a chassis of 145.5 x 72 x 10.3 millimeters. The Super LCD2 touchscreens that are fitted on their front panels can render clear qHD visuals in 960 x 540p resolution. Each of the devices has been bestowed with a 2.1MP webcam in order to make them capable of supporting video conferencing over 3G or Wi-Fi. It goes without saying that they run the Android Jelly Bean platform garnished with the latest Sense UI.

When it comes to internal working, the phones can be expected to support more than a couple of applications as a quad core processor ticking at 1.2GHz dominates the interiors of these Desire smartphones. Also, 1GB of RAM has been added to assist the chipset. Battery life should not be a problem either, as a 2100mAh power pack is integrated in them.

Price details of the HTC Desire 709d, 7060 and 7088 will be announced at a later date.
