The HTC 8X price in India and release date have gone live officially, along with the details of other smartphones such as the HTC 8S, One X+ and Desire SV. All the aforementioned gadgets are slated to hit store shelves in November itself.
Compliant with micro SIM cards, the Windows Phone 8 device in question shows off a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 720p multi-touch display that has a Corning Gorilla Glass coating. Along with this high definition screen, the front panel has a 2.1MP camera for making face-to-face video calls and even recording 1080p videos. The flip side is graced by an 8MP shooter which boasts of possessing features like a BSI sensor, HTC ImageChip, LED flash, auto focus and more for delivering clear and improved still shots and videos.
Encased in a chassis measuring 132.35 x 66.2 x 10.12 millimeters, the Dr. Dre-certified 8X handset is splashed in shades of california blue and graphite black. It packs in a dual core Qualcomm S4 processor that ticks at 1.5GHz and 1GB RAM in addition to 16GB of integrated memory. Additionally, this NFC- Wi-Fi- and Bluetooth-enabled device is powered by a 1800mAh lithium-ion polymer battery and sports a 3.5mm audio jack too.
The HTC 8X carries a price tag that reads Rs. 35,023. It will be up for grabs in the coming weeks.
