HP Spectre world’s thinnest laptop coming to India tomorrow

The HP Spectre is all set to land in India on June 21, with the brand sending out press invites for an event on that date. The laptop’s claim to fame is the fact that it’s supposedly the thinnest laptop in the world, measuring just 10.4mm and weighing in at just 1.1kg only.

The HP Spectre will be pitted against Apple’s MacBook Air to claim dominance in the high-end laptop segment. While the brand has been mum on the price of the former in India, it starts at $1170 in the US, which roughly translates to Rs 78776 here.

The Spectre has been carved out of aluminum and carbon fiber to lend it an ultra-stylish premium look complete with gold accents. Its 13.3-inch 1080p screen is protected by a layer of edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass. The company has notably equipped it with a hyperbaric cooling technology to ensure the notebook draws cool air inside, rather than just pushing hot air outside.
