The HP SlateBook x2 and Split x2 are two among the slew of products the California-based company has brought into India. Both these are notebook-tablet hybrids, while there’s even a portable AIO PC in the lineup, apart from a Pavilion laptop, an Ultrabook and a multi-OS AIO PC.

First let us have a look at the HP SlateBook x2. This hybrid comes equipped with the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS, and bears inside it an Nvidia Tegra 4 mobile processor. Its highlight is a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen monitor which can be placed on a dock to convert it into a notebook. 64GB worth of storage has been granted to this device which has its retail value set at Rs 39,990.

Next we have the Split x2 which grabs hold of a 13-inch detachable screen, and runs the Windows 8 OS. It is powered by an Intel Core processor, and features other attributes like a 2MP TrueVision full HD webcam, a ClickPad for easy multi-finger and gesture navigation and support for BeatsAudio. It will be made available for Rs 64,990.

And then there’s the ENVY Rove 20 which is being described as a mobile AIO PC which possesses the benefits of a built-in battery. It kicks in a 20-inch IPS widescreen HD+ LED backlit display, Intel HD graphics and fourth generation Intel Core processors. This device has its MRP placed at Rs 69,990.

The Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook and the Envy TouchSmart 14 Ultrabook have also been brought to India, along with the Slate 21 AIO PC which sports a 21.5-inch full HD display and the ability to run Windows as well as Android operation systems. It will be purchasable at Rs 24,990.

Surely, with the SlateBook x2, the Split x2 and other above mentioned products, the company has expanded its portfolio for the country in an eye-grabbing fashion. And the price points of these new products aren’t steep as well. The only thing that remains to be seen now is how well the market receives them.
