HP Pavilion 15 Star Wars Special Edition and other laptops launched in India

The HP Pavilion 15 Star Wars Special Edition, Pavilion 13 x360, and Envy 13 have been launched in India. Three business-focused devices namely the ProBook 430 G3, ProOne 400 G2 AiO, and ProDesk 400 G2 have made their way to the country as well.

All the new gadgets come with Windows 10 and are available for purchase, with the notable exception of the HP Pavilion 15 Star Wars Special Edition, which will come out on November 20. The laptop is the most expensive offering of the lot, coming in at Rs 73000. It was unveiled internationally earlier this month.

HP Pavilion 15 Star Wars Special Edition

The HP device is decked out in a Star Wars theme, sporting images of Darth Vader on its back and a Stormtrooper next to the red-lit keyboard. It contains several bonus features for dedicated fans such as a Aurebesh font to type in Galactic Base Standard language, 1100 rare photos, wallpapers, storyboards, and notification sounds like R2-D2 and lightsabers.

Taking a closer look at its specs, the Pavilion 15 carries a 15-inch full HD display with anti-glare, 1TB of internal memory, 12GB of RAM, and audio by Bang & Olufsen. It’s powered by a sixth-generation Intel Core i5 processor, coupled with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M GPU. It’s supposed to last for 7 hours on a single charge. A Star Wars Special Edition Wireless Mouse and laptop will be sold separately.

Moving on to the all-metal Envy 13, the device is supposed to be the slimmest HP laptop till date with a thickness of just 12.95mm. It weighs a light 1.3kg and is priced at Rs 64990. It houses a 13.3-inch screen and ships with an integrated fingerprint scanner. The company is offering the laptop either with a Intel Core i5 or i7 SoC and promises a battery life of 10 hours.

The Pavilion 13 x360 is a flexible laptop equipped with a 360-degree hinge. It starts at Rs 45990 and ships with a 13.3-inch 1080p IPS touchscreen, a TrueVision HD Webcam, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB 5400rpm HDD, and a 48Wh Li-ion prismatic battery. Potential buyers can choose to purchase it with Intel Core i5 or i3 CPU.

Finally, the ProBook 430 G3, ProOne 400 G2 AiO and ProDesk 400 G2 cost Rs 49990, Rs 49000 and Rs 45000, respectively. They come equipped with security features for enterprise customers such as like HP Client Security and HP BIOSphere.
