HootSuite for iPhone gets updated with Translation, Facebook & Geo-location

Hootsuite iPhone Update

A mergence of instant language translation, social networking site, and geo-location may put squeeze on one to utter ‘yes’. HootSuite has just added more tools to the iPhone version of the highly appreciated social media dashboard including language translation, geo-location, and Facebook integration. The new update also comes with several key interface enhancements.

With this new version, users can still manage and monitor multiple Twitter accounts, track keyboards and brands, and explore on-board click-through stats. Interestingly, the offering enables users to translate Twitter and Facebook messages on the fly, in more than 50 languages. Users can also update Facebook accounts, compose Twitter messages in landscape view, share geo-location info, ‘reply-to-all’ with one click, and ‘Bump’ iPhones to follow one another.

With Facebook support, social bugs can update their status, track their friends’ news updates, and schedule their messages for future publishing. Equipped with translate-ability, HootSuite snoozes in as a great choice for monitoring relevant topics and brand mentions from global friends and customers. Users can compose in their native language and translate on the go.

Further, with geo-location feature, users can alert the world to their exact location by including geo-location data with their Twitter update. Chronicling a trip or remembering a special spot has just easier. Additionally, the app now pops up with large, intuitive buttons, and a landscape view for composing Twitter updates in a larger, thumb-friendly space.

The new HootSuite update is available now for the full (paid) version in the iTunes App Store. The full version is available for $2.99 and adds unlimited social accounts and on-board statistics tracking.
