Just yesterday, BlackBerry users were given a reason to spread their messages, monitor conversations and track results. Now, HootSuite has shed light on its newest mobile release for users owning an Android-powered mobile device, the Facebook integration.
The recently unfurled much-needed update for Android now enables users to add Facebook accounts right to their handsets, as well as import existing accounts and pages from the HootSuite web dashboard. The enhanced app also allows socially active users to add comments and schedule updates, reveals the official HootSuite blog.
Users can now easily manage their multiple social identities and accounts, receive optional background notifications for updates, and create custom views for tags and searches. The app also lets one examine Ow.ly click-through stats reports, and share and store photos and files.
Further, the new app for Android allows users to send updates to Twitter and Facebook from virtually anywhere, and shorten URLs with Ow.ly.
