GuitarJack Model 2 audio interface will arrive to give iPhone users the ability to record melodies the moment it hits their head. And yes, music lovers won’t have to drag their heavy laptops around to store rhythms that they create on their instruments, for here’s where the iPhone comes into play.

The Model 2 is basically a 1/4 inch audio input device that sports a sleek and stylish aluminum design. Complete with a 1/8 inch of stereo mic/line input, it seamlessly connects a wide range of instruments. This gadget fits into the iPhone dock and provides 60dB of continuous level control.

The GuitarJack control panel includes TaylorEQ, StudioTrack, FourTrack and GuitarTone app, giving users varying input and recording options. This audio interface also provides input/output solutions for apps downloaded from the Apple app store as well as third party tuners and amp models.

GuitarJack, in addition to its other features comprises stereo recording. Plus, voice and instrument can be simultaneously recorded, converting the device into a portable mini studio of sorts. It also incorporates a configurable Pad, Lo-Z and Hi-Z modes, and increased drive for headphones.
