This solution has been laser cut out of sheets of real skateboard grip tape. The sticker can be directly attached to the back of the iPhone 4. It is touted to be completely replaceable and promises not to scratch the back of the device. It can be used with iPhone bumper cases as well.
According to Gizmodo, the one who crafted the grip tape iPhone did so on breaking the back of the iPhone 4 due to an accidental drop. The designer zeroed on grip tape after experimenting with other materials like silicone, sandpaper and others.
