Gowalla now available in beta form for Android enabled phones

Gowalla Game Android users may just receive a new game to play on their mobile phones called Gowalla. Well, Gowalla is a location-based social networking game, reports Android Guys.

Apparently, the game is quite similar to foursquare and allows users to check-in to a location, share places, experiences, and take stamps for their ‘passport’. Sources allege that three tabs surface on top namely Activity, Spots, and Passport. Reportedly, each and every place registered in Gowalla is an icon describing what type of location it is.

Apparently, official representative Josh Williams mailed a small blurb on the status of the app in the Gowalla blog mentioning that his objective has been to do this correctly and offer an enhanced experience on the Android platform. They don’t want the app to be secondary to the iPhone.

Users can get their hands on the game as it is now accessible in beta form.
