Google to fix Android SMS bug soon

Android Logo The increasing acceptance of the Android operating system from Cupcake to Honeycomb seems to have enlightened Google with the need to fix a text messaging bug irking this platform. Google has finally addressed the concern and promised to deploy the fixes of the bug to its users soon.

Seemingly, the bug has two issues regarding texting and opening of particular messages. Firstly, some users have complained that when they open one text message, a completely different SMS pops up. In response to this, Google says that presently users should wait for all the elements of the Messaging app to load before tapping on a SMS to open it.

Next, when sending a message to one contact, it has been noted that the SMS gets delivered to another contact altogether. Such problems might annoy users in their work and personal life. The company has stated that this obstacle is already solved and the fix has also been developed.

The updates about the Android SMS bug are expected to be deployed to its users soon.
