Google’s upcoming Pixel Watch has now leaked in flesh. The device was apparently left unclaimed inside a restaurant in the US and that’s how live images of it have popped up on the Internet. They showcase the circular design of the watch, along with giving us a glimpse at the latch mechanism of its strap.

Android Central has shared these photos claiming that they were submitted to the publication by someone who found the smartwatch at a restaurant. Unfortunately, though, the Pixel Watch had run out of battery so only one image exists of its display being on since it could only showcase the Google logo before powering off.

And the device can’t be charged owing to the fact that it has its own proprietary charging system. As you can see in the images, the Pixel Watch grabs a circular face with minimal display bezels. It comes with a crown for navigation and even seems to have a microphone.

The Pixel Watch seems to have grabbed a proprietary latch mechanism as well. Apart from the crown, there are two buttons on the device. On its back, an optical heart rate sensor can also be clearly seen.

In one of the images that were uploaded by the original leakster on Reddit, the Pixel Watch is placed alongside a 40mm Apple Watch and a 46mm Galaxy Watch for size comparison. It does have a larger footprint than the Apple device but a smaller one than the Samsung smartwatch.

The Pixel Watch is expected to be announced next month along with the Pixel 6a smartphone. While no official mention has been made by Google about the former device, the latter has had its existence confirmed by the company. It is expected to have a dual-camera system and an affordable price tag.
