Google Now cards for Android can work offline too now, no sweat

Google Now cards hadn’t been able to deal with connection losses until the latest Android app update which lets them work offline too. Meaning you won’t have to worry about losing access to useful information such as your current location, appointments for the day, the weather forecast, directions to the destination you’re headed towards, where you parked last and more, when out of coverage.

The latest Google Now update means that all the essential data you need at your fingertips will stay with you even if you’re in an area with bad network coverage including subways, underground parking spaces or remote regions unfamiliar with cell towers. Can you imagine, there used to be such a thing as not having a smartphone give you all these bits of information?
