Google Nexus 6P will land in India by November

In a statement to the press, Huawei has announced that the Google Nexus 6P will start shipping in India this November, following a delay in its launch which was actually supposed to take place on October 21. The other mid-range Nexus phone by LG is already available exclusively through Amazon India for Rs 31900 or Rs 35900, depending on whether you want the 16GB or the 32GB version.

Flipkart is the official vendor of the premium Google Nexus 6P however. At the time of writing this post, the online retailer wasn’t taking orders for all variants of the 32GB and the 64GB smartphone priced at Rs 39999 and Rs 42999, respectively. But those who booked a unit last week were expecting to receive it on November 2. It’s not clear if early buyers will face delayed shipments, though Huawei did promise that the handset would be coming in the first week of November.

The Chinese company says it is working full steam ahead to push out the phone in batches. Since there’s a shortage of the Nexus 6P globally too, there are high chances of the demand continuing to outstrip supply. The device is made of metal and it sports the future-proof USB Type-C port. Everything from it 5.7-inch Quad HD screen to Snapdragon 810 chip to 3GB RAM to fingerprint sensor screams ‘premium,’ for sure.
