Google is always consistent with updates and has been working seamlessly to provide Android users with an enhanced approach to search locations using Google Maps. Google Mobile blog highlights that the company has now rolled out Google Maps 4.6 with an improved design for Place page reviews, better options to filter search results and a Google Latitude real-time updating option.
The update enables users to see Place pages on Android Maps with a new revived design. Users can view ‘reviews from Google users’ and ‘reviews from around the web’ with utmost ease.
Apart from distance and ratings, individuals can filter results from searches by open now, neighborhood and related searches. For latitude, users can select an experimental ‘Real-time updating’ option from a specific latitude friend’s profile page. Owners can access this function only when friends have Google Maps 4.6 and Android 2.2 and above.
