Just when we were thinking Google Glass was losing its sheen after having been taken off its limited sales model, something really interesting that could soon make its way into the gadget has popped up out of nowhere. A patent that has just been awarded to the company indicates that the device will provide you with the right dance moves whenever you’re in the need for them.
This is a pretty creative use of the technology that’s on offer through Google Glass. It borders around the line that is usually treaded by video games like Dance Central and Dance Dance Revolution which project on TV screens the moves that players must follow in order to earn points.
The dance patent of Google’s accessory however doesn’t have its focus set on earning any points. It’s actually meant for those who are at their wits end when asked to shake a leg at parties. This is why it comes with a feature that recognizes the music and suggests the right moves for it.
As reported by Tech Times, this patent approval for Glass states that the content identification module will grant information regarding to a media sample like a song or a dance to the wearable computing system. This system will then decide dance steps suited for the content in order to display them on the HMD (head mounted display).

Google Glass will probably also possess the ability to show the user a video of someone else dancing to the same song to help them better understand the steps. This controversial gadget hence seems to be gearing up to be quite an interesting accessory in the future.
Google Glass was being sold to interested developers at $1500 till January this year, but it cannot to purchased right now. A new version of it currently believed to be under development, and it’s expected to be unveiled sometime later this year.
