Google+ for Android and iOS update lets page owners post, comment and interact

The new Google+ for Android and iOS update has brought with it a handful of interesting and much awaited features. From what the company has to say about it, these newly introduced highlights have been highly-requested, allowing page owners to not only post and comment directly through their devices, but also interact with followers.

The update will enable iPad and Android users to browse for the latest topics and posts as well as find new people to include within circles. For the Google mobile platform, there’s even a completely redesigned home screen widget in the offering. With regards to the application for iOS, it now renders support for the iOS 6 platform in addition to the iPhone 5 handset. And for all those who have had a problem with not being able to edit posts, the software will now allow iPhone and iPad users to do just that.

For those new to what both applications can offer, here’s a quick run-through. Users can automatically share images directly to Events with the help of the Party Mode. There’s even an Instant Upload feature that syncs photographs from the handset directly onto the private album by simply turning it on. The tool lets users conduct video conferencing with up to 9 friends and check out the latest stories through the Nearby stream. The application that’s designed specifically for Android tablets comes with a fresh magazine-style layout, while the iPad version brings in a design optimized for Retina displays.
