Google Buzz for mobile extends to more devices

Buzz For Mobile When Google Buzz was launched back in February, many were skeptical about its future. It doesn’t seem to have done too badly and now, the official Google Mobile blog states that Google Buzz for mobile will be available for Android pre-2.0, Blackberry, Nokia S60 and Windows Mobile.

This web-based tool was previously compatible only with phones powered by Android 2.0 or later versions and iPhone OS. What’s more, if users choose to switch to the XHTML version, Google Buzz for mobile will remember their preference.

Devices running on Android pre-2.0 will now be able to access the same web app as the OS’ later versions. Google Buzz for mobile is available in 37 different languages. The web-based tool is open to mobile devices and browsers that do not support HTML5 capabilities.

Users can log on to buzz.google.com to view public or personal buzz posts or comment on posts. Blackberry owners have the advantage of enabling location to get a Nearby view of the closest geo-tagged post. The company has stated that this feature might not be functional on other devices.

So those users who haven’t been able to access Google Buzz for mobile can now utilize its services to the fullest.
