Glu Mobile brings Bug Village game to Windows Phone 7

Bug Village For Windows Phone Glu Mobile recently launched the Bug Village game for Windows Phone 7. This city building game is apparently the first third party freemium title on the smartphone platform to leverage in-app purchasing.

Players of this game have to build and maintain a colony of active ants and bees. The aim is to construct houses for attracting bugs and help them in making their way to the garden, where the cute creatures collect resources to expand the village. Gamers need to constantly feed these bugs and keep them energized and healthy.

Glu CEO Niccolo de Masi commented, “We are pleased with the popularity of Bug Village among casual Social Mobile gamers and Windows Phone 7 provides yet another mobile platform on which to grow Glu’s global audience.”

This game is capable of supporting English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese languages on Windows Phone 7. The 3D game enables gamers to treat their bugs with cookies, cupcakes and other delicious food items. They can even decorate their insect gardens with colorful flowers and plants.

The Bug Village game can now be downloaded for free from the Windows Phone Marketplace.
