Fujitsu announced the availability of the E09F mobile phone, claiming to support global passport GSM/CDMA and is also water-resistant. The device is also claimed to be an all-in-one business solution, developed for corporate users.
In case of loss of phone, the user can utilize the remote locking system, in which the device can be locked using a computer. Also all data present on the mobile phone including contact list, e-mails and more can be wiped off ensuring protection to user’s private data.
The device is said to feature a special mode called the ‘privacy filter’, which prevents any one around from seeing the screen. Being equipped with a Global Passport international roaming service, the mobile phone is claimed to allow users to make calls from anywhere in the world.
GSM voice connectivity is currently supported in hundred and ninety-seven countries and packet connectivity in hundred and fifty-three countries. Whereas, CDMA coverage is supported in twenty countries and packet connectivity in thirteen. The one-segment television content is said to keep users up to date with news in real-time.
The Fujitsu E09F mobile phone is available through KDDI Corporation and Okinawa cellular telephone Company in Japan.
