Fujifilm X-E2 with extremely fast auto-focus lands in India for Rs 76,999

The Fujifilm X-E2 is for you if you’re after a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera and have Rs 76,999 to spare. The device has been freshly launched in India after it made its international debut in late 2013. It’s supposed to be an improvement from the X-E1 model on several counts including the design, exposure control and auto-focus capabilities amongst other things.

The camera captures stills and videos with the help of a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor and an EXR Processor II. Fujifilm’s special phase detection system is supposed to render users one of the world’s fastest AF speeds of 0.08 seconds only.

The quick AF will obviously be a handy feature especially when you’re shooting subjects caught in those fleeting moments that cannot be replayed in real life. 0.08 seconds not good enough for you? The Sony Alpha 6000 can snap to focus within a breathtaking 0.06 seconds.

The exposure compensation option now offers a larger range of +/-3 and the EVP frame rates for low light photography have been enhanced too. There’s Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO) technology onboard which deals with the sharpness and quality of images and videos.

Pop-up flash comes as part of the package, though you can also add a dedicated TTL flash via the hot shoe. A 3-inch LCD screen, 2.360K-dot OLED electronic viewfinder, ISO of up to 25600 and 1920 x 1080p full HD video recording present themselves on the features sheet along with other specifications.

The Rs 76,999 price we mentioned above covers the body-only configuration of the Fujifilm X-E2 camera. You’ll have to watch your wallet bleed by Rs 1,09,999 for the standard 18-55mm bundle.
