Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 camera pops up in India for Rs 9550

The Fujifilm Instax Wide 300, the latest entry in the company’s range of instant cameras, has officially been released in India for the price of Rs 9550. You could also get it cheaper from online retailers such as Amazon India (Rs 8350) or eBay India (Rs 7727).

The Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 has a 95mm f/14 retractable lens with an additional close-up lens that can capture images up to 40cm from the subject. For focusing, the motor-driven zoom dial can switch between two modes, normal (0.9m – 3m) and landscape (3m and above). The programmed electronic shutter release can take between 1/64 of a second to 1/200 of a second to click a photo.

The Fujifilm Instax camera has automatic flash for low-light shooting which optimizes the intensity of luminescence according to distance. It can take anything from 0.2 to 6 seconds to recharge, with a flash charging indicator in red to tell you when it’s ready. There’s also an added button for a fill-in flash mode that allows for backlighting.

Retro-inspired cameras like the Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 are not very common nowadays. It’s not likely to convert people used to digital cameras, but seems like a good option for those who like the novelty of getting their picture immediately after clicking it, especially at big events such as a party or wedding.
