Flipkart doesn’t need to be tempting you with a Rs 1 lakh gift voucher and 100% cashback offer if you were already planning on buying the Moto G. But hey, these are the perks now and they’re much more stimulating than the Rs 2000 discount the retailer was giving those who wanted to trade in their old smartphone for the Moto G.
The Rs 1 lakh gift voucher and 100% cashback on the smartphone are being doled out as shopping vouchers which will allow the winners to buy Flipkart goods worth the amount they receive as part of the prize. Participants have to first place an order for the 8GB or 16GB Moto G via the aforementioned website, upon which they will get an order ID.
They will then have to answer with a Yes or No to a ridiculously simple question which goes ‘Moto G runs on Android?’ through SMS, include their order ID and hit send to 09250692506. The winners will be alerted over SMS and email on May 7, with the full list of lucky customers set to be made known on the same date via Flipkart’s Facebook page.
Only one winner will be selected for the Rs 1 lakh gift voucher, while 100 other chosen participants will get 100% cashback on their Motorola-Google handset. Those who cancel or ask for a refund after ordering the device, will not not be eligible to take part in the contest.
