Fido releases Sony Ericsson T715A slider

Fido Sony Ericsson T715A Canadian network carrier Fido recently rolled out an affordable Sony Ericsson slider for its subscribers, dubbed T715A. The mobile phone packages a host of innovative features in a slim and sleek form factor.

The quad-band handset comes with a 2.2-inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution. The T715A sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with video recorder. Some other features of the handset include flight mode, calendar, to-do list, calculator, unit converter, world clock, alarm, handsfree speaker and notepad. The dimensions of the Fido handset are 91.5mm x 48mm x 15mm and it weighs around 96.5 grams.

The Sony Ericsson mobile phone supports Bluetooth version 2.0, HSPA 850/1900/2100 as well as GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. The GSM model offers up to 10 hours of talktime. However, the 3G device delivers about 4 hours of talktime. It is inclusive of 90MB internal memory and provides microSD slot for expanding memory. For music lovers, the T715A slider incorporates an MP3 player. Furthermore, it incorporates an integrated Facebook application. Apart from the handset, the package is inclusive of charger CST-15, USB cable DCU-65, CD Media Manager, and PHF Stereo HPM-60.

The T715A can be purchased for $50 with a monthly plan and 2 years Fido agreement. The slider can also be obtained for $200 with a monthly plan, without Fido agreement. Just for purchasing the handset, users need to shell out $200.
