Facebook Camera App 01

The official Facebook Camera app has gone live, making it a convenient standalone utility dedicated to photo sharing. It basically serves as a platform for storing and posting images taken by the device’s snapper, onto the Facebook mobile application.

Potential users getting started with the app will see an array of pictures from their friends in the form of feeds. A simple swipe across individual photos will open them up, while the same can be done to open different albums as well. This new Facebook application facilitates sharing of multiple images in one shot, something not seen as a standard on the SNS. The pictures to be shared can be selected by clicking the check-mark across each image. Furthermore, simply hitting on the post button will make them known to all, something that should render photo sharing a breeze.

Those wanting to add a caption to the concerned images or tag pals in them can do so before posting the assortment. Moreover, images stored in the camera roll can be customized using tools to crop, rotate or add filter effects for improving their visual appearances. This new app also brings photos from different applications under one roof. Although photo sharing on Facebook may just have been expected to see an increase since SNS acquired Instagram, a single app committed to sharing and storing images had not been released.
