Security firm F-Secure has announced the availability of its mobile security software for the UIQ platform. Known as F-Secure Mobile Security, this software will be supplied to Sony Ericsson’s mobile phones.
In fact, a trial version of F-Secure Mobile Security 3.3 for UIQ will be available in certain Sony Ericsson UIQ handsets.
Smartphones available in the market offer a highly connected computing experience and thus need some sort of protection, in the same way that computers do.
As part of this tie-up, both F-Secure and Sony Ericsson will co-operate on a close basis in the filed of mobile security to make sure that smartphone users can enjoy a safe and richer mobile computing experience.
The F-Secure Mobile Security 3.3 for UIQ software combines an integrated antivirus and firewall.

The F-Secure Mobile Security 3.3 for UIQ application will be available for subscription via the F-Secure Mobile Store.
