Avid fans of the Master Golf Tournament as well as loyal users of its official iPhone app are in for quite a treat. Well the Masters Golf Tournament iPhone app has now been updated.
This iPhone app is providing live video and live scoring application for the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, from April 8 – 11, 2010. This video coverage comprises of Amen Corner including hole Nos. 11, 12, and 13, and also hole Nos. 15 and 16. Moreover, the videos also feature Masters Extra which comes with a bonus one-hour pre-telecast coverage.
One can receive On Demand Video Highlights at the end of each day. These videos can be seen with Edge, 3G, and Wi-Fi connections. But on the downside, live video can be seen only in the United States.
The leader board boasts of live scoring, parings and tee times. Also users can get player information from the Masters Tournament. Some of the new attributes embraces new Leader Board views, extended live video coverage, a News section, live streaming Radio and images from the Masters Tournament.
This new version comes with new hole illustrations in the ‘course’ section. It would even offer descriptions of each of the Masters Tournament’s impressive 18 holes. Also it can provide a fly-over video for every hole.
