Earthworm Jim to feature on mobile phones

Gameloft Logo Casual games are most enjoyed on mobile phones. To boost the collection of games on mobile phones, Gameloft has now teamed up with Interplay to develop, distribute and publish Earthworm Jim.

The game revolves around an earthworm who dresses up in a Super Suit to fight evils. Apart from mobile phones, the game will also be offered on WiiWare, PlayStation network, with an exclusive one month run on the Xbox Live Arcade.

The Earthworm is just like a normal worm who engages in eating dirt, crawling and fleeing from hungry birds, until he comes across an indestructible space suit. Jim protects himself from the birds by shielding in the space suit.

The game will be made available in the last quarter of 2009.
