Motorola DroidMotorola Droid was recently launched on November 6. Now according to the official Qik Blog, it has been revealed that not only can users download the Qik client from the Android Marketplace which supports Droid, but also apply for premature beta access to a high-resolution Qik client for Droid that can capture videos in DVD resolution.

DVD resolution (720 x 480) video is claimed to be first ever by any live mobile video provider. This is possible due to Qik as they claimed to have revised their UI to provide Droid’s incredible new high resolution screen.

The Qik Speed Sharing Ribbon enables users to share what they are viewing with their friends. They can craft shortcuts to choose contacts from their phone and set them in the Speed Sharing Ribbon so that the following time users Qik, they can share their Qiks with them by merely a tap on the screen. Qiks can also be recorded and shared secretly by simply choosing an individual from the Speed Sharing Ribbon.

Users can setup sharing favorites for their desired social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube directly from the phone. Those favorites will show up on the Speed Sharing Ribbon, thereby facilitating users to share their Qiks with no difficulty.
