Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol wins the IMG Award for Gameplay at WMC in Barcelona

Dirk Dagger and Fallen Idol Mobile Game The IMG awards for gameplay which took place at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona were swept away by Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol which are not yet rolled out on mobile phones and are going to be developed for Nokia by Swedish developer Jadestone.

The game Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol is going to be developed for the Nokia N-Gage platform. Now players can enjoy this game on their mobile phone format.

Player will be able to enjoy and know private eye Dirk Dagger, which is the main character of the mysterious crime story steeped in the tradition of noir movies. The twisty investigations of our favorite detective take players on a humorous journey through the backalleys of New Heaven and into the creepy sets of an unhinged movie mogul.

Robert Henryson, CEO of Jadestone, explained, “Jadestone has been in the forefront of mobile development since 2002, often pushing the limits of technology together with Nokia. With Dirk Dagger, we’ve radically increased our focus on ease of use and playablility.”

Henryson further continued, “We’re very happy today to see that we have the results to show for it. We always had great expectations for the game, but we now can’t wait for its release in the market.”

The Jadestone team has got an opportunity to work with Nokia which offers the technical platform and the mobile phone giant always wanted to make use of the its phone features as the whole navigation experience around the clever use of the built-in camera.

Since this game is hard to play on the PC for some players, Jadestone’s main aim was to reduce the complexities of the adventure for the players to enjoy the game on their handsets. The game has simplified the interface design, removed obstacles and made the game to work well even for a long play session.
