Cricket MyShot II SCH-r460Cricket Communications along with Samsung Communications have introduced a new classy flip phone incorporating popular features. Dubbed as the Samsung MyShot II SCH-r460, this new phone is an updated version of the Samsung MyShot that was released earlier.

This trendy handset brags of a large display with a 1.3 megapixel camera. It also offers an MP3 music player and a microSD slot for removable memory. Bluetooth connectivity and Mobile Web are other features inclusive with the phone.

Jeff Toig, vice president of product marketing for Cricket stated, “The MyShot II provides Cricket customers with high-end features at a value price. This device provides an all-in-one solution with customized quick access to Internet content, a camera and music player. It is ideal for a customer who wants all of the features and functionality of a more expensive phone, without the high price tag.”

Besides, it is also the first Cricket handset offering the MyHomeScreen to provide a fully personalized home screen with widgets. The device will enable customers to get their account information and view favorite internet content like news, weather as well as sports rapidly. Users can access social networking sites and also shop for downloads.

The Cricket MyHomeScreen application will also be accessible on selected future phones. The Samsung MyShot II is currently offered for a price of $159.99 through Cricket retail stores and dealers.
