The Creative Woof 3 has been launched in India and is currently available exclusively via e-commerce site Snapdeal. The portable speaker has retained its predecessors Rs 3999 price tag, although it’s currently selling at Rs 2499 through the aforementioned retailer.
The inverted bell-shaped Creative Woof 3 sports a durable metal alloy body which stabilises the gadget to deliver a clearer sound. The brand claims the new 45mm driver is 12% larger than the previous variant of the series. The speaker also houses an oversized passive bass radiator to output better quality audio.
The Woof 3 derives its power from a 500mAh battery. Creative promises the unit can survive for up to 6 hours of playback on a single charge. The product additionally ships with a built-in microphone, allowing people to take calls when their smartphone is connected to the device through Bluetooth. It measures 75 x 65 x 68mm and weighs 273g.
Creative has blessed the speaker with the ability to play mainstream (MP3/WMA) and lossless high-quality music formats (FLAC/WAV). It’s further been equipped with a microSD card slot, doubling up as a microSD card reader to transfer content such as music and videos to a computer. Note that it supports cards up to 32GB in size.

Connectivity specs for the palm-sized Woof 3 consist of a 3.5mm AUX-in cable to connect analog gadgets, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate. The last allows for remotely controlling playback through a compatible device, thereby letting users pause, skip and raise the volume of tracks.
The Creative Woof 3 is available in blue, red, winter chrome and gold colors. Like we said above, the speaker is retailing through Snapdeal at Rs 2499.
