The brand new Coolpad Mega 2.5D has been launched at an entry-level price of Rs 6999. The smartphone is set to be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India. Flash sales for the device will commence on August 24 at 2pm on the e-commerce website. Interested buyers can register themselves on the website to place an order for it.
The Coolpad smartphone has a metal body with a 5.5-inch, 2.5D curved glass display. It has a resolution of 1280 x 720p HD and IPS technology. A 73% screen-to-body ratio has been calculated on the device by the company. The phone functions on a MediaTek MT6735P quad core processor in combination with 3GB RAM. Internal memory has been pegged at 16GB, allowing up to 32GB expandability via a microSD card.
Both the front and rear camera have a resolution of 8MP, the only difference being that the rear lens is accompanied by LED flash. The Mega 2.5D functions on Android Marshmallow and Cool UI 8.0. Its 2500mAh battery claims to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time on a single charge. Standard connectivity options like dual SIM, 3G and 4G support, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi are present on the device.
