The ongoing IFA Berlin will mark the debut of a microUSB smartphone battery enhancing creation, the Concord Keystone Eco Booster. The last few shock absorbent battery cases were delivered by PowerSkin for the iPhone, Nexus S 4G, and Motorola Droid handsets.
The Keystone Eco Booster will be a portable gadget with a built-in retractable microUSB charging cable. This ceases the need for any additional accessory to be carried. To use this booster, it can be attached to the smartphone with the adhesive gel pad. Hidden underneath a protective cover, the gel pad secures the battery enhancer firmly to the back of the handset and avoids any slippage. Also, the protective cover can easily be used as a horizontal or vertical viewing stand while the phone is being charged by fixing it on the back of the booster.
The company claims that the booster offers almost double the usual time for most microUSB smartphones. Also, it is integrated with a battery check button and LED status indicator which displays the charge level of the booster.
The battery booster expands the line of concord which includes AmigoCase, Solar/USB Power PAK and other charging units and accessories. The accessory weighs 65g and measures 102mm x 57.4mm x 13.4mm. The patent pending booster is powered with a 1400mAh lithium-polymer battery.
First look of the Concord Keystone Eco Booster can be witnessed at the IFA Berlin at Hall 26 C Booth #826. Commercial availability is expected around the month of October this year for a price of $34.99.
