Classpad Tablet

After the recent launch of the Aakash tablet which had been specially made for the student brigade of India, another slate dubbed as the Classpad has arrived in the country to give education a boost. This device has been developed by Rohit Pande, a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta who aims to offer more advanced tools of learning to Indian students.

The Classpad is said to be apt for students between 3 and 12 standards. It is capable of serving as an interactive eReading device which can store a whole library of books. This slab comes in two variations namely, the Trolley model which is suitable for usage by a group of children and the OTPC or one tablet per child version that is to be used by a single student.

Rohit Pande, CEO, Classteacher Learning Systems, elaborated, “Our education system does not differentiate students according to the learning capabilities and teach them at the same level, but the software installed in Classpad tests students’ problem solving, creativity and application of language skills. It provides them with personalized teaching as per their learning capabilities. Equipped with artificial intelligence, Classpad can help to categorize students as fast learners, average learners and slow learners. Classpad can assist in reducing the monotony of repetitive sessions in the classroom. Teachers can now complete their syllabus within schedule and get considerable time to focus on slow learners.”
