There is a world of apps thrown open to the Android users and to further add to that Citrix recently pulled out the GoToMeeting App out of its hat. As the name suggests, it targets corporate folks and seeks to give them the freedom to join online meetings anytime, anywhere.
With Citrix GoToMeeting app users can click a link in an email or the GoToMeeting icon and enter the id to join a meeting. Connecting to audio is possible through internet via handset’s built-in mic and speakers. Audio can be controlled and put on mute mode to eliminate background noise when travelling. Also, the list of meeting attendees can be viewed and content can be zoomed up to 200 percent times by simply pinching the screen.

The newly launched Motorola Droid Bionic incorporates Citrix GoToMeeting App and Citrix Receiver to the list of other apps that it comes pre-loaded with. Irrespective of the operating system, Citrix Receiver enables users to access corporate Windows apps and other documents on over one billion different devices. Bionic is followed by Motorola’s Droid 3 that includes this app to aid business travelers.
Citrix GoToMeeting App for Android is available free of charge from the Android Market.
