A brand new Celkon Millennia Epic Q550 carrying a price of Rs 10499, has been added to the company’s generally lackluster lineup of smartphones for India. Considering how much you’ll have to shell out for the device, you’d normally expect a Snapdragon processor to be found inside it, right?
Well, you’re only getting a quad core Cortex A7 chip clocked at 1.3GHz and helped along by 1GB of RAM. Stretched across the face of the Celkon Millennia Epic Q550 is a 5.5-inch IPS OGS display of 720p resolution and it’s crowned by a 2MP camera. Complementing the last mentioned feature is an 8MP main snapper with flash and auto focus.
The Millennia Epic Q550 runs on Android KitKat of course, and it can accommodate a couple of SIM cards. Touching on the subject of memory, you get 16GB of internal storage space as well as the option to expand it by another 64GB via the microSD card slot.
3G support, a big 3500mAh battery and a thinness of 8mm are also worth mentioning amongst the main specs. As you can see, there’s nothing spectacular about this Celkon phone. At the same time, its uni-body design does make it looking like a handset above your average entry-level option.
