Though the console gaming segment is inundated with comic book-like streaks, the iPhone sphere has seen little of such dazzle. In a bid to infuse vivid hues into this domain, Spearhead Entertainment has unleashed a comic book themed game titled Captain Puzzle for the iOS platform.
In this narrative, gamers don the role of a pompadour-styled superhero dubbed Captain Puzzle. Touted to be the sole hope for his community, the lead character comes equipped with a chromatic assortment of neutralizers. As villains overrun the peace of this star-powered city, the caped crusader will need to rescue its inhabitants while saving the three missing stars from destruction.
“Not only is Captain Puzzle is an incredibly addicting game, but it also incorporates an interesting back-story, which we feel adds to the overall experience. The hero has to face devious opponents through more than 50 levels spread around the downtown city, the nuclear complex, the frigid ice cave and the secret laboratory. Armed with a weaponry full of color coded nullifiers, gamers can eliminate opponents only when a minimum of two same-colored villains fall in the picture. Additionally, players have to be cautious in their approach as these stars are bestowed with limited lifespans. Lastly, the neutralizers can turn against the hero if latched onto a surface without exploding.
Captain Puzzle is now available in the iTunes App Store at the price of $0.99.
