If enthusiasts weren’t getting enough of the console version of a certain Activision game, Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is now all set to deliver some action on the iPhone and the iPad. Along with the Apple smartphone and tablet, this game is built to be compatible with the iPod touch too.
First developed for console gaming, the title went by the name Call of Duty: Black Ops. When the developers decided to grace handheld Apple devices like the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with a new version of this game, they added a new zombie experience which was not seen earlier for mobile games. Along with this, the app also had ‘Zombies’ added to its title.
The mobile edition of COD features up to 50 levels of Dead-Ops Arcade and also comes with the signature Zombies mode for Call of Duty. It is also integrated with a voice chat function which enhances the multiplayer experience on these gadgets. Users can choose to play alone, or join a team of up to four gamers to beat zombies.
The game is mainly compatible with Apple devices of the third generation or higher. So it can be enjoyed only by owners of the iPhone 4S/4/3GS or iPod touch third as well as fourth generation. Users wielding either version of the iPad can take down zombies on these slates. Also, the company conveys that updates for the new edition of the mobile game will keep coming with time.
