The Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android app is ready to wage war on competing titles for the Google mobile OS, after it hit iOS in December. This game developed by Treyarch, involves destroying the vast crowd of zombies attacking the world.
Users can opt for the single player mode or a multiplayer game that supports up to 4 persons over Wi-Fi. A variety of weapons and extras are at their disposal to break free from the zombies and kill them. For the first 30 days, the title will be rolled out exclusively for Sony Xperia smartphones including the Play, ion and S.
“We’re delighted to bring the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise to Android smartphones and Xperia for the first time. And what better way to make this introduction than with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies. There’s nothing else in this world or the underworld like Call of Duty. We can’t wait to unleash Zombies to our fans,” expressed Tim Harrison, Head of Content Marketing and Strategy at Sony Mobile.
Fans also have the choice to select the in-game CoD Point System that has been tossed in for the single-player mode. Basically, this will provide users with 6 stages of in-app purchasing choices. This will enable them to scale through undiscovered locations and wield new weapons. There are a total of 50 levels in which to battle it out against the zombies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android can be downloaded via Google Play. It will be rolled out for Android 2.3.3 and higher devices.
