It looks like a lot of people are high on saving the planet and going the eco-friendly way, which is probably why yet another new option makes itself known as the Boost Mobile Samsung Replenish. The highlight of this smartphone is that it’s an environmentally conscious device that has been built partially with recycled plastic.

The Samsung Replenish was unveiled way back in May last year through Sprint. It lets users type text in two ways, either through the 2.8-inch TFT 240 X 320p touchscreen or via the physical QWERTY keypad. Running on Android 2.3, this mobile device comes incorporated with 2GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot.

Andre Smith, vice president, Boost Mobile, commented, “Consumers are smarter about where and how their money is being spent, and Boost Mobile offers a considerable value. We offer first-class affordable Android smartphones, like the Samsung Replenish, on a reliable network with a no-contract offer that has payments that shrink over time.”

Incorporated with a 2MP rear facing, primary camera featuring geo-tagging, the Boost Mobile handset operates on a 600MHz Qualcomm CPU. Additionally, the GPS-enabled smartphone lends support to USB 2.0 and stereo Bluetooth technology.

The Boost Mobile Samsung Replenish will start retailing from January 16 and it is scheduled to be available online at boostmobile.com as well as through all company authorized retail stores across the U.S. This device has a $99.99 price tag attached to it.
